Will SLiPLO fit on my car?

Sliplo is a universal kit which means one size fits all. It’s a modular system which can be combined and trimmed to fit almost any flat surface area. It is very important for you to check under neath your bumper making sure that there is at least 1.5″ of flat surface area where each SLiPLO piece can be adhered to.

Do I need to drill holes?

SLiPLO is a universal, drill free solution product which comes with an adhesive backing that’s as strong as a rivet.

What's included in every DIY kit?

Every DIY kit includes (x8) pieces of SLiPLO skid plates, (x 2) 3M adhesive promoter sponge packs and (x1) installation instructions.

Will it lower my bumpers height clearance?

SLiPLO will decrease your bumper’s lower lip clearance by about a 1/4″. After extensive testing we have found that this is the sweet spot in order for the product to look like a factory add-on while still preventing damage to the front portion of your car’s front lip under extreme conditions such as steep driveways with a high angle of attack. Will it create more friction during impact?

SLiPLO will actually reduce the amount of friction during impact. SLiPLO will reduce your overall surface impact area by more then 50% resulting in less abrasion. The special blend of Polyurethane used to construct each piece of Sliplo comes with excellent abrasion resistance properties. It slides like ice skates when it comes in contact with surfaces such as asphalt. Most front spoilers are made of carbon fiber, fiberglass composites, or plastics which have a high friction point during impact. Sliplo eases and cushions the point of impact by allowing your bumper to glide over the surface area.

How strong is the adhesive?

The adhesive on Sliplo has the same strength level as a rivet per square inch and would only fail on three occasions: Sliplo was not properly installed Sliplo was placed on a surface that is not paint (eg. wraps, clear bra ppf, wax, sealants etc.) In very extreme points of impact where an object such as a raised parking block grabs the front portion of Sliplo and causes failure. This is actually a huge benefit of using adhesive over a rivet since it allow for failure under extreme conditions without ripping your bumper off.

SLipLo is perfect and exactly what my car’s new front lip needed

I purchased the SLipLo guards as insurance for the new, expensive carbon fiber front lip that I installed for my C43 AMG. It is serving the purpose really well, I’m already seeing a few scrapes transferred to the SLipLo vs the CF lip taking the hit. It’s basically invisible even to the trained eye, but provides great protection as intended. Having an extended 10 year warranty is an added bonus. Thank you for such a robust product!

Bad customer service

Can't say anything about the product but it has been 11 days since placing my order and the only update received was that a tracking label was made. Item has not even dropped off to a shipping courier. Haven't received a reply after asking about the status of the order. Pretty disappointing.

Be Ready to be DISSAPOINTED! PAY MORE for LESS!!

I have used the 'original' Sliplo Scrape Guards on multiple cars, so after my stock of them I bought back in 2020 finally ran out, it was time to reorder in 2025. Guess what, you get a WHOLE LOT LESS now for more money. It used to cost $59 for a full box, now it cost $75, BUT the worse part isnt the price increase, I could live with that, its that the 'new scrape guards' are HALF the thickness of the original, and small length and width, AND you get less of them in each box. Needless to say, they have lost my business permanently, their GREED and inferior product (from the original design) makes them no longer 'worth it' to me.
